Joint Inspection Survey
Pre-acquisition surveys are a popular pre-acquisition survey option for purchasers considering the purchase of a property who want a faster, more personal and less expensive response, or those who wish to discuss the best way to consider making alterations and improvements to the property.
No written report is provided, instead, the inspection is carried out by our surveyor for the first hour. The client then joins the surveyor in the second hour, where discussions on the property can then take place and the surveyor can offer any advice on what was noted during the shortened first-hour inspection.
There will be an assessment of the same building elements (time permitting) but as the purchaser, you will be able to ask questions and direct the focus of the inspection to suit your specific interests in relation to the property.
If a buyer wants assurance that a building has no structural defects, as well as advice on whether major renovations and alterations can be carried out, this survey may be appropriate.
It is possible that more complex buildings will require both a Level 3 survey
